1. How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is an eclectic and controversial style. My inspiration is drawn from different styles, moods, experiences and eras. I love draped and flowing silhouettes, I enjoy formal wear, work wear, urban wear and some traditional clothing. My style I believe is unique, I can't seem to stick to one style of dressing, for me it is more about an emotional and inspirational connection. How I feel that day or particular moment when dressing, what has inspired me that day, week or month and what's the purpose. All of those components tend to inspire and will dictate what my style will be for that day.
2. Where do you get your inspiration from in terms of fashion?
Films, magazines, old photos and emulating people I see. Particularly elderly gentlemen, they wear pieces with a purpose and comfort.
3. Which brands are in your wardrobe?
Anything from Raff Simons to Armani (Giorgio and Emporio), Vintage and current is a lot on my rotation lately. Todd Snyder, ONS, Kenzo, Human Made, Eton, John Bull, Comme des Garcons, etc... It's all so different. Majority is vintage clothing.
4. What is your favorite thing about the city you live in? What brands/fashion designers/thrift stores can you reccomend there?
My favorite thing about NYC is the diversity of cultures. I love L train Vintage, Brooklyn Circus,O.N.S. Aime Leon Dore and knickerbocker to name a few.
5. What are your favorite cities ( and fashion weeks ) to travel and why?
Tokyo - the style , diversity, culture, food, the people are just amazing. My beloved Firenze, Pitti Uomo, beats any fashion week so far for me.
